Our history

The company was founded in 1994 as Re System, introducing innovative and lightweight hairdryers for hairdressers. Subsequently, it developed products such as the Tornado, Mistral eco, and Mistral computer, reducing drying times and operating costs. In 1995, it patented the GHIBLI, a hairdryer that releases warm air, which was improved in 2002.

In 2009, under the new management of Om System, the company focused on technological innovation while maintaining the reliability of existing products like Scirocco and Ghibli. It also improved delivery times and maintenance services, thanks to specialised technicians who could provide detailed quotes following a thorough free assessment.

Another significant step took place in 2010 when, in response to feedback gathered from customers, Om System launched the GHOST, a patented built-in vacuum hairdryer system. The GHOST eliminates clutter behind the wash basin and employs a soundproof system with a foot switch. In the same year, the company also initiated a new production line for wash basins and salon furniture, further solidifying its presence in the industry.

After receiving an excellent response at the 2010 Cosmoprof fair in Bologna, Om System commenced production of the GHOST and, in 2011, was awarded a prestigious recognition as an outstanding company in Ferrara, thanks to its innovative management practices aimed at the constant improvement of products and business processes.

The company continues its growth, expanding its market in Europe and Latin America through the use of high-quality materials, strictly Made in Italy. Also in 2011, Om System further diversified its offering by providing design and construction services for hairdressing and beauty salons, collaborating with leading companies in the sector for the supply of furniture and equipment.

In 2015, Om System positioned itself as the second company in northern Italy for the sale of Salon Ambience furnishings, achieving leadership in the sector between 2016 and 2020. Thanks to its steady growth, the company decided to open its own internal carpentry workshop to enhance product customisation and quality, alongside an advanced 2D and 3D design studio with rendering capabilities.

Today, Om System stands out for its design and construction of "turnkey" salons, offering complete and customised solutions for its clients in the aesthetics and beauty sector.
